Voyomotive releases new Lookout Alert feature to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning

Voyomotive announced the addition of the ‘Engine On’ warning to its Lookout Alerts, a unique safety feature in the VOYO  App. Lookout Alerts are issued when a vehicle has been left in a hazardous condition, driven unsafely or experienced a malfunction.

As recently covered in a New York Times article, the popularity of keyless ignition systems present an increased risk for drivers to accidently leave their engines running.  In this circumstance, the Engine On Alert feature sends a warning by SMS, email or within the VOYO app to return to the vehicle.  A recent review of the Engine On and other Lookout Alerts was covered in a recent article by The DRIVE.  Engine On Alerts are supported for all vehicles since 1996.  To see other Lookout features supported for your vehicle go to the Order VOYO page.
